Ukraine Nears Half of Planned Agricultural Exports for September

The Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has reported that the country has fulfilled 43% of its September agricultural export plan.

In the first 21 days of September, Ukraine exported 1.6 million tonnes of agricultural products, with grain accounting for 960 thousand tonnes or 38% of the planned volume.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Taras Vysotskyi, stated that oilseeds and their byproducts are being prioritized due to their higher added value.

Vysotskyi also noted that despite some damage to warehouses and complicated logistics, the domestic food market is currently supplied with essential products and there have been no abnormal price increases.
