Ukraine Shatters Rapeseed Oil Production Records

Ukraine's rapeseed oil production reached a record high in the 2025/26 crop year, according to UkrAgroConsult. The country processed over 1.3 million tons of rapeseed oil, accounting for 42% of its total gross harvest.

This marks the highest level of rapeseed processing in Ukraine since records began. In comparison, Ukraine's rapeseed oil exports increased by 2.5 times compared to the previous crop year, reaching 520 thousand tons and generating $588 million in revenue, more than triple the export revenue from the same period the previous year.

In the first half of 2026, Ukraine exported 184.2 thousand tons of rapeseed oil, a significant increase of 9.7 times compared to the same period last year, with export revenue rising by 10.9 times to $208 million.
