Ukraine's Agricultural Exports Jump 41.5% in September 2026
Ukraine's agricultural exports surged by 41.5% in September 2026, reaching 3.04 million tons, up from August's figures. The growth was primarily driven by grains, oilseeds, and their processed products, according to ProAgro Group. These key categories accounted for 2.65 million tons of exports, or 87.2% of the total volume, compared to 83.1% in the previous month.
Grain exports saw a notable increase of 50.4%, totaling 1.49 million tons. Wheat exports experienced the most significant rise, jumping from 612.7 thousand tons in August to 1.09 million tons in September, an increase of 78.6%. Corn exports remained stable at 306.8 thousand tons, while barley exports grew by 16.9% to 80.3 thousand tons.
Oilseed exports also rose to 494.5 thousand tons, with rapeseed leading the charge at 428.7 thousand tons, a 46.5% increase from August. Soybean deliveries increased by 24.3% to 36.2 thousand tons. Exports of vegetable oils reached 323.5 thousand tons, a 15.8% increase. Sunflower oil exports remained steady at 146.6 thousand tons, while rapeseed oil exports surged by 61.9% to 154.5 thousand tons.
The most substantial growth was observed in oilseed meal exports, which increased by 83.4% to 343.4 thousand tons. Sunflower meal shipments more than doubled to 285.4 thousand tons, while soybean meal exports decreased by 24.9% to 58 thousand tons.
