US Blockade: Over 1 Billion Barrels Cross Strait of Hormuz Amid Zero Iranian Oil Exports
The US military's Central Command (CENTCOM) has reported that over 1 billion barrels of crude oil have passed through the Strait of Hormuz under a US-led 'ironclad blockade'. According to CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper, this number is based on recent months' data and includes more than 1 billion barrels of crude oil moving out of the Gulf.
Cooper stated that Iran has exported 'zero barrels' of oil during this period, attributing the halt in exports to the US blockade. This figure is significant as it suggests a substantial impact on Iran's oil exports due to the ongoing tensions between the two nations.
