US-Blocked Iranian Oil Tankers Sail Toward America

Three US-seized tankers carrying nearly six million barrels of Iranian oil are currently sailing in the Atlantic toward the United States. The vessels, Majestic X and Tifani, were seized by US authorities in April after loading crude oil in Iran.

The oil cargo is estimated to be worth approximately $600 million. This development comes amid continued US enforcement of sanctions targeting Iran's oil exports and efforts to restrict Tehran's access to oil revenues.

According to vessel-tracking data, the tankers were reported off Brazil's northern coast. The seizures by the US Department of War aimed to disrupt the activities of sanctioned vessels accused of providing material support to Iran.
