According to data from the American Automobile Association (AAA), New York has seen gas prices reach $4.2095, while Texas is selling at $3.6080. In contrast, Los Angeles (California) boasts the highest price among major cities at $5.6802 per gallon.
The global benchmark Brent crude was trading at $86.25 per barrel by midday U.S. time on August 30. West Texas Intermediate (WTI), another key indicator, stood at $83.40, while MARS hovered around $99.17.
