The US has imposed sanctions on countries with business ties to Iran after Washington announced an 'economic D-Day' against Tehran.

The move widens current sanctions and targets countries that have dealings with the Iranian regime, including oil exports and financial transactions.

Palestinian officials report that Israeli settlers set fire to two mosques, as well as cars and agricultural land in the occupied West Bank. The US has launched strikes on Iran in response to attacks on three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
