US LNG Exports Hold Steady as European Demand Boosts Volumes
US liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports remained relatively stable in July at around 10.26 million tons (Mt), a marginal increase from June but still 2.4% lower than the first-half average, according to data from Kpler.
The uptick was largely driven by Europe, which saw deliveries rise 12.6% to 4.15 Mt in July, marking its first monthly gain since March.
Shipments to Asia eased to approximately 3.88 Mt, while volumes to Africa dropped to 1.32 Mt from 1.75 Mt after June's surge led by Egypt.
The US also saw an increase in LNG exports to the Americas for a fourth consecutive month, reaching 0.92 Mt, the strongest month in two years.
