US LNG Exports to Dominate Global Market by 2030
US liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply is expected to account for nearly 30% of the global total by 2030, according to ExxonMobil.
This prediction was made by Peter Clarke, senior vice president of LNG at ExxonMobil Upstream, during an energy forum in Bangkok.
The growth of US LNG exports will be driven by high North American natural gas production and the expansion of the country's export capacity.
Clarke noted that the region has enough natural gas to meet both domestic market needs and export growth, which is essential for sustaining both fronts as the US increases its share of global LNG supply.
