US Military Targets Iran's Oil Tanker Network
The US military has reported that it has destroyed five Iranian oil tankers in recent operations.
A statement from CENTCOM posted on X said that no U.S. Navy warship had been struck, and all attempted attacks by the IRGC had failed.
The US forces have successfully destroyed 10 Iranian tankers in just the last week, according to the statement.
The vessels were part of a multibillion-dollar shadow network that funds the IRGC, and Iran was unable to defend them.
