US Natural Gas Market Heads into Winter with Record Production
The U.S. natural gas market is entering the winter heating season with record production levels and solid storage, according to a report from the Natural Gas Supply Association.
Dry gas production is forecast to reach a record of 112.5 billion cubic feet per day, while storage sits at 3.88 trillion cubic feet, providing a strong supply cushion ahead of colder months.
The majority of demand growth is driven by liquefied natural gas exports, which are expected to increase by 2.3 billion cubic feet per day year over year, and long-term structural requirements to power expanding data center capacity.
