US Strikes Back at Iran with Oil Tanker Strike
US forces have targeted three Iranian oil tankers in response to a missile attack on two US warships while they were on patrol. The strike was carried out by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), which reported that both ships managed to evade the attack with no injuries.
CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper stated, 'Let the message to the IRGC be clear: If you shoot at two of our ships, we will impose an even higher economic cost, taking out three of yours.'
Vice President JD Vance recently downplayed the conflict, saying 'I wouldn't call it a war' and adding that he doesn't know when the fighting will end.
