The USDA released grain bid reports for several US regions on September 22 and 23, showing mixed cash values across the Midwest and Gulf. In Kansas, ordinary protein bids were quoted at minus 90.00Z to minus 60.00Z basis, unchanged, with prices of 6.9125 to 7.2125 dollars per bushel, down 0.1325, averaging 7.0625 dollars per bushel against 4.2150 dollars a year earlier on a delivered-truck basis.
Cash grain bids in Illinois declined, with Chicago ordinary protein bids quoted at minus 25.00Z to minus 5.00Z basis, unchanged to down 5.00, with prices of 6.9225 to 7.1225 dollars per bushel, down 0.0950 to down 0.1450.
In the Gulf region, Louisiana and Texas export elevator bids for US No. 2 yellow corn were quoted at 58.00Z to 68.00Z basis, down 19.00 to down 11.00, with prices of 5.8625 to 5.9625 dollars per bushel, down 0.2750 to down 0.1950.
