The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has increased its estimate for Ukraine's wheat production in the 2026/27 marketing year to 26 million tons, up from a previous forecast of 25.4 million tons.

This increase is attributed to record yields, according to the USDA's September report.

However, the export forecast was lowered by 1 million tons to 12.5 million tons, while ending stocks were increased to 6.1 million tons.

The global wheat production forecast has also been raised to 822.4 million tons, up from a previous estimate of 819.3 million tons.
