Corn prices are trending upward ahead of the USDA's Grain Stocks report and Small Grains 2026 Summary, scheduled for release at 11 a.m. CT.

According to data from Successful Farming, December corn is up 2½¢ at $5.24½ per bushel, while November soybeans are up 11½¢ at $13.09¼ per bushel.

The USDA also announced that unknown destinations are buying 105,000 metric tons of soybeans for the 2026/2027 marketing year.

Naomi Blohm, senior market advisor with Total Farm Marketing, cautions that these reports may have a significant impact on the market but could also be 'duds.'
