USDA Reports Mixed Results in July Export Sales Across Key Commodities

According to the USDA Export Sales Report for July 16, 2026, U.S. agricultural export sales showed mixed results across commodities during the week of July 10-16.

The report indicated that wheat and corn net sales for the 2026/2027 marketing year reached 290,000 metric tons and 701,500 metric tons respectively, with Mexico being the largest buyer for both commodities.

Soybean net sales also showed mixed results, with a decline of 70% from the prior week and four-week average for the 2025/2026 crop, but an increase of 1.54 million metric tons for the 2026/2027 crop, mainly to China and Mexico.

Other commodities such as cotton, hides, and livestock also showed mixed results, with upland cotton net sales increasing by 29% from the previous week and four-week average, while whole cattle hide net sales increased by 10% from the prior week and 21% from the four-week average.
