USDA Unveils Plan to Boost Biofuel Exports Overseas

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has unveiled a plan to expand American biofuel sales overseas, targeting foreign regulations that limit the use of fuels made from corn and other U.S. crops.

The 'American Biofuels Trade Outlook' follows record US ethanol exports in 2022, with the country shipping 2.2 billion gallons of ethanol abroad last year, valued at $4.7 billion.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said the plan aims to ensure continued success for American farmers and biofuel producers.
