Uzbekistan's Business Ombudsman Halts Shutdown Threat at Bplastuz LLC

Uzbekistan's Business Ombudsman stepped in to resolve a dispute over gas supplies to Bplastuz LLC, a local enterprise on the verge of shutting down due to disconnection from the natural gas network.

The review was prompted by social media reports claiming that the company had been disconnected and was facing suspension of operations. A meeting was held with representatives of Bplastuz and Hududgaz Poytaxt's gas supply branch to examine the situation.

Following the review, the issue was resolved, and natural gas supplies to the enterprise have been restored. The Business Ombudsman stressed that when state authorities apply enforcement measures to businesses, priority should be given to ensuring uninterrupted production and preventing disruptions to manufacturing processes.
