Vedanta Keeps Operating Cost Steady in Rajasthan Amid Output Decline
Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited, an upstream oil and gas company, has maintained its Rajasthan operating cost at $16.4 per barrel for the year ending March 31, despite a decline in output from its ageing fields.
The company attributes this result to its focus on operating discipline and the implementation of digital and artificial intelligence systems across its operations.
Vedanta Oil and Gas's gross operated production fell by 16% to 87.2 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, with Rajasthan alone contributing to this decline.
