The gold price in Vietnam has remained largely unchanged at the start of this week, despite slight decreases in world prices. According to data from Saigon SJC Jewelry Company, the buying and selling prices for SJC gold bars are listed at 144.6-147.6 million VND/tael, with a difference of 3 million VND/tael between the two.

The prices have remained steady compared to last week's closing session, but DOJI Group has seen a slight decrease in its buying and selling prices for gold rings by 400,000 VND/tael. Phu Quy Gold and Gems Group has also kept its prices unchanged at 144.6-147.6 million VND/tael.

World gold prices have decreased by 3.5 USD/ounce to 4,373.1 USD/ounce as of 9:00 AM. Analysts believe that the Federal Reserve's continued tightening policy and concerns over inflation will put pressure on gold prices. However, a breakthrough above the 4,400 USD/ounce zone could lead to further price increases.
