Vietnamese Gold Prices Soar to Record Highs
Gold prices in Vietnam have seen significant increases over the past month, according to data from various sources. On September 7, 2026, gold bars were selling at a higher price than at the beginning of August. Specifically, SJC, PNJ Hanoi, DOJI, Phu Quy, BTMC, and Bao Tin Manh Hai are all trading gold bars at around 144.6 million VND/ounce for buying and 147.6 million VND/ounce for selling. This represents a buying price increase of 7.6 million VND/ounce compared to August 1st.
For those who bought gold on August 1st, the profit is estimated to be around 3.6 million VND/ounce at SJC, PNJ, DOJI, Phu Quy, BTMC, and Bao Tin Manh Hai. However, Mi Hong's price has increased more sharply, with a buying price of 145 million VND/ounce and a selling price of 146.5 million VND/ounce, resulting in a profit of approximately 6 million VND/ounce for those who invested on August 1st.
The data also shows that gold prices have increased by 6.6 to 7.5 million VND/ounce compared to the beginning of August in terms of selling price. This means that investors who bought gold at the lower price in August are now making a profit, with some earning as much as 3.6 million VND/ounce or even 6 million VND/ounce.
