Wall Street Slumps as Oil Prices Rise Amid Middle East Uncertainty

Wall Street indices fell on Thursday as concerns over the Middle East conflict lifted oil prices and Treasury yields, dampening investor appetite for riskier assets.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 208.36 points, or 0.40%, to 51,303.23, while the S&P 500 lost 24.04 points, or 0.30%, to 7,681.99.

Technology stocks led declines on the S&P 500, with chipmakers such as Nvidia, Broadcom, and Micron slipping over 1% each.
