Wall Street Stocks Swing Wildly Amid Market Volatility
US stocks experienced a volatile day on Wall Street as they were buffeted by fluctuations in the bond market and oil prices.
Despite several reversals, the S&P 500 ultimately ended the trading session virtually unchanged from its opening levels.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average, however, took a hit, closing down 166 points or 0.3% with an hour remaining in trading.
The Nasdaq composite, on the other hand, remained relatively flat throughout the day.
