West Asian Supply Nears Pre-War Levels, Oil Prices Steady
Oil prices remained steady on September 30, following their biggest one-day fall in more than a week. This stability comes as West Asian supply nears pre-war levels.
The Saudi bypass route has been restored to at least 3.5 million barrels per day, roughly half its capacity, according to a Bloomberg report. This easing of concerns has contributed to the stable oil prices.
Brent crude, the global benchmark, settled near $103, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) traded near $89 a barrel, after shedding 3.5% in the previous session.
