Western Canada Grain Prices See Regional Variations

Grain prices in Western Canada have been released by PDQ, which is owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. The data provides average grain prices at various areas in Western Canada in Canadian dollars per metric tonne as of September 25, 2026.

The CWRS, CWAD, CPSR, and CDA all saw price increases in certain regions, with some areas receiving higher prices than others. The Peace region saw the highest prices for CWRS at $314.27 CAD/MT, while the lowest was seen in NE Sask at $264.83 CAD/MT.

Canola and peas also saw varying prices across Western Canada, with N Alberta seeing a price of $326.04 CAD/MT for canola, while SE Sask saw a lower price of $301.87 CAD/MT.
