Western Canada Grain Prices Vary Across Regions

Grain prices in Western Canada are publicly available through PDQ, which is owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. The organization provides information services and cash grain market prices to producers. As of September 23, 2026, various areas in Western Canada reported the following average grain prices per metric tonne.

Peace region saw an average price of $318.03 for CWRS, $283.18 for CWAD, and $762.57 for CDA. In Northern Alberta, prices averaged $332.79 for CWRS, $288.12 for CPSR, and $763.61 for CDA.

The Southern Alberta region reported average prices of $336.98 for CWRS, $293.02 for CWAD, $292.45 for CPSR, and $775.14 for CANOLA. The Northwest Saskatchewan area saw an average price of $325.90 for CWRS, $294.74 for CWAD, and $278.77 for CPSR.
