Western Canada Grain Prices Vary by Region
The daily grain prices in Western Canada have been reported by PDQ, a company owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. The data is based on cash grain market prices and related statistical information as of September 24, 2026.
According to the report, the average prices for various grains in different regions of Western Canada are:
CWRS (Canadian Western Red Spring) wheat ranged from $13.5 per metric tonne in Peace Region to $334.22 in South Alberta, while CWAD (Canadian Western Amber Durum) wheat ranged from $13.0 in Peace Region to $294.37 in South Alberta.
Other grains reported include CPSR (Canadian Prairie Spring Red) wheat at an average price of $290.60 in South Alberta, CDA (Canadian Dark Amber) at $778.17 in South Alberta, Yellow peas at $314.77 in Peace Region and CANOLA (no specific price mentioned).
