Yanbu Oil Loadings Halted Amid Houthi Attack on Saudi Pipeline
Oil loadings at Saudi Arabia's Red Sea port of Yanbu have been suspended due to an attack by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis, according to shipping industry sources.
The suspension comes days after the world's biggest crude exporter closed its East-West pipeline. Saudi Aramco has increased use of the Yanbu terminal since the US war with Iran began on February 28.
Saudi Aramco declined to comment on the matter, but shipping sources confirmed that oil loadings at Yanbu have been halted. The suspension is likely to impact global crude supplies and prices.
