Yemen Conflict Escalates into Proxy War with Saudi Arabia
The conflict in Yemen has escalated into a proxy war involving Saudi Arabia and other regional players.
A 2015 interview by General Hamid Gul, former head of the ISI and Mujahid-e-Islam, foretold that Yemen would become a 'trap' for Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey.
Recent secret negotiations between Houthi rebels and the United States at the American Embassy in Muscat have confirmed this prediction.
The Houthis allegedly assured the US and Zionists that their ships would not be attacked, but stated that Saudi oil tankers would not be granted such an exemption.
This has led to speculation about a nefarious plan against the Muslim Ummah.
