Share

Triple-A, a stablecoin payments firm based in Singapore, confirmed an unauthorized access to its treasury wallets on July 27. The company restricted services for about three hours while securing affected infrastructure.

The attackers took digital assets from the company's operational accounts, but client funds remained unaffected. Triple-A stated that its segregated customer money was not touched by the breach.

Specter, an onchain investigator, estimated losses at approximately $11.8 million after tracing wallets linked to Triple-A. PeckShield had earlier estimated losses above $9.7 million across several blockchain networks.
