Bitcoin traded around $83,600 after the settlement, below its recent high near $87,000 but still well above its earlier trading range.
The expiry removed a large block of hedging exposure, with approximately 182,000 BTC represented in the options book.
Calls substantially outnumbered puts, with about 106,200 BTC of call open interest against roughly 75,900 BTC of puts in the expiry.
