The recent nine-day streak of net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) came to an end on Aug. 28, with a significant $201.9 million in net outflows recorded by SoSoValue.

ARK Invest's ARKB led the outflows, losing $114.9 million, followed closely by Bitwise's BITB at $49.7 million. BlackRock's IBIT also reported net outflows of $33.4 million, while VanEck's HODL saw $13.2 million leave the fund.

However, Morgan Stanley's MSBT bucked this trend, reporting a net inflow of $9.3 million on Aug. 28.

The reversal in ETF flows comes after weeks of sustained accumulation, which had pushed cumulative net flows into positive territory for the year. The outflows are seen as a sign that some investors may be taking profits or rebalancing their portfolios amid broader market uncertainty.
