21Shares Sees Bullish Signs in Ripple's Fundamental Setup
Ripple's (XRP) struggles have been well-documented in 2026, but asset manager 21Shares sees a stronger fundamental setup for the cryptocurrency. According to their report, regulatory clarity is one of the key pillars supporting XRP's case.
This follows the favorable outcome in August 2025, which removed a major compliance obstacle for institutions. Since then, the regulatory environment has improved further, giving XRP clearer treatment than it had under the previous SEC tenure.
Another important aspect is expanding institutional access, with several spot XRP ETFs launching on Wall Street last November and attracting over $1 billion in inflows. The cumulative total of these investments reached a new all-time high above $1.7 billion this year.
The report also highlights growing XRPL utility, with the network processing close to $500 billion in on-chain value over the past 12 months. Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin has expanded from $72 million to $1.6 billion in less than two years, while tokenized assets on XRPL have grown substantially to reach $4 billion.
The report notes that XRP's fixed maximum supply of 100 billion tokens is another advantage, with no ongoing inflation schedule and a small amount permanently burned through transaction fees.
