$250,000 GTA VI Leak Exit: Cyberleek's Crypto Rug Pull Scheme Unravels
A mysterious individual behind the Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) gameplay leaks has cashed out approximately $250,000 in cryptocurrency through a rug pull scheme.
The leaker, known as 'Cyberleek', created and watermarked a memecoin called $CYBERLEEK on the Solana blockchain around August 15. The token peaked at around $0.0344 on August 23 but has since plummeted to near $0.002725.
Cyberleek minted the token and acted as its own liquidity provider, accumulating fees from trading volume generated by each leak. As a result, the leaker earned an estimated $250,000 in creator fees, which were then cashed out in SOL.
The scheme involved burning 270 million reserve tokens worth around $1.79 million to build trust with traders and maintain fees flowing into Cyberleek's wallet.
