$2.7K ETH Awaits LPs in Balancer's Hack Recovery Proposal
Balancer's recovery proposal aims to distribute $2,738.43 in ETH among liquidity providers (LPs) affected by an August 31 exploit.
The plan would divide the recovered funds according to each pool's share of the total dollar loss at the time of the attack.
Liquidity providers would receive their allocated shares based on their pool-token holdings at Ethereum block 25,872,248, which preceded the first exploit transaction.
However, the proposal does not yet show what any address could claim, and an individual LP cannot calculate an exact ETH payout without access to per-pool allocation tables and holder lists.
The recovery pool is separate from the assets covered by Balancer's proposed shutdown, with funds recovered from protocol attacks belonging to affected LPs and sitting outside the treasury distribution intended for BAL holders.
