$3.9 Million ETH Transfer Sparks Debate Over Kanye West and Ethereum's Future

Tom Lee, a well-known cryptocurrency analyst and investor, has predicted that Ethereum's price will reach $5,000 by the end of 2026. This forecast comes as a wallet linked to a user named Wanye kest made a significant transfer of 1,445 ETH worth approximately $3.9 million to Binance on September 29.

The transfer was initially attributed to Kanye West, but further investigation revealed that the wallet's owner is likely not the celebrity rapper. Instead, it appears that the user Wanye kest has been using a similar-sounding name for their online presence.

Lee's prediction of $5,000 for Ethereum by 2026 is part of his more bullish outlook on the cryptocurrency market. He argues that Ethereum's price could potentially reach $60,000 within a couple of years due to growing financial-sector interest in using the network.

This forecast comes with some caveats, as Lee chairs BitMine, an Ethereum treasury company, which gives him a direct commercial interest in the asset's performance.
