4chan Bitcoin Prophecy Points to Potential Crypto Winter End
A mysterious 4chan post from December 12, 2023, predicted that Bitcoin would reach its next all-time high on October 6, 2025. The prediction came true, with BTC hitting just above $126,000 on that exact date. The forecast was based on a pattern: previous market lows to highs took 1,064 days, while highs to lows took 364 days, and this cycle had repeated twice. The same 364-day pattern suggested the next cycle bottom would land on October 5, 2026.
As of now, Bitcoin is trading around $86,100, nearly 32% below its peak but up about 2% on the day. The recent U.S. jobs report, which showed only 29,000 jobs added in September against the expected 90,000, has raised hopes that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates stable. Lower rates or the absence of hikes are favorable for risk assets like Bitcoin.
Despite the 4chan prophecy, Bitcoin already hit a low of around $57,000 in July, meaning it is currently about 50% above that bottom. Analyst Benjamin Cowen suggests there could still be another leg down, though the technical setup appears more optimistic. The 4chan prediction remains a fascinating anomaly in the crypto world, blending numerology with market behavior.
