AAVE Approaches $200 as V4 Deposits Surpass $1 Billion
Aave’s native token, AAVE, has surged toward $184, positioning itself to test a critical resistance level before a potential October rally above $200. On Binance, AAVE was trading near $183, with a key Fibonacci resistance level at $183.86. The token has gained about 22.1% over seven days and 35.4% over a month, with a 24-hour trading range stretching from $177.50 to $187.06.
Aave Labs reported that its V4 lending markets have surpassed $1 billion in deposits and $310 million in active loans. The update confirmed that V4 has gone live on Arc and Base, with the latter introducing an Equities Hub that accepts seven Coinbase tokenized stocks as collateral. However, these equity tokens are currently collateral-only and available only to eligible users outside the United States.
Technically, AAVE is trading within a rising channel on the 4-hour chart, with Supertrend support at $171.66. An analyst has identified $202.29 as a potential upside target, contingent on a daily close above $184. The liquidation heatmap shows significant overhead concentrations around $185, $189, which could act as a barrier before a move toward $200.
The bullish scenario for October hinges on AAVE maintaining support above $184 and clearing recent highs near $187. Losing the rising channel and $171.66 support would shift focus toward lower support areas around $158, $160.
