Aave founder Stani Kulechov has expressed concerns about Morpho's proposed definition of non-custodial DeFi vaults. According to Kulechov, users may still face changes to how their funds are allocated, even with timelocks in place.

Kulechov questioned the powers given to vault curators, stating that they could potentially expand allocations beyond the strategy users initially agreed to. He also raised concerns about user visibility into these decisions and whether implied approval is sufficient for liquidity providers to have control over their funds' deployment.

Kulechov views Morpho's categorization as 'self-serving' and argued that it doesn't accurately represent non-custodial DeFi vaults.
