Adams Debunks Uniswap V4 Fee Criticism
Uniswap founder Hayden Adams has pushed back against criticism that fees in the v4 protocol reduce liquidity providers' income.
In a recent report, Uniswap governance enabled protocol fees for some v4 pools across multiple blockchains, sparking controversy among users.
Adams responded to the criticism on social media platform X (Twitter), stating that the claims are based on 'incorrect assumptions.'
He argued that protocol fees are added, not deducted from existing LP fees, and that a 5 bp protocol fee amounts to about 14 percent of the total swap fee in a 30 bp pool.
