ADIC and Mubadala's Bitcoin ETF Stakes Decline in Value
The Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) and Mubadala Investment Company reported their second-quarter holdings in Form 13F filings, showing no change in the net number of shares held in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT), but a decline in value.
The total combined value of the two entities' stakes fell by $117.7 million to $763.7 million, with ADIC's stake accounting for 38.3% of its portfolio and Mubadala's stake making up 1.4%. The entities are part of the same sovereign investment group, with Mubadala owning ADIC.
The share counts remained unchanged from March, but the market price decline led to the decrease in value. This suggests that neither entity made a significant change to their Bitcoin ETF allocation between March and June.
