AI Agents Poised to Disrupt Human Dominance in Economy
Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, has expressed his optimism about AI agents and their potential impact on the cryptocurrency ecosystem. In a recent post on X, Armstrong stated that AI agents will outnumber people in the economy in the years to come.
He also asked his followers when they predict the 'Agentic Finance flippening' to happen, which is defined as agent-to-agent payment volume exceeding human-to-human volume.
This assertion comes after Vitalik Buterin, the CEO of Ethereum, acknowledged the rise of AI agents and highlighted the solutions that the Ethereum network can provide for AI agents to carry out negotiations and settlements.
Other leading founders such as Circle's Jeremy Allaire and Binance's Changpeng Zhao have also made positive declarations about AI agents.
