Elliptic has introduced Pulse, an AI-powered tool that helps frontline law enforcement officers understand cryptocurrency transactions without needing blockchain expertise. The tool analyzes wallet addresses and transaction hashes in seconds, providing a plain-language financial summary.

The company said Pulse was built to assist ordinary police officers who may encounter cryptocurrency during investigations. It allows them to quickly determine whether a case warrants further investigation or escalation. If needed, the officer can forward the full analysis to Elliptic's screening and forensic-tracing tools or their agency's own workflow.

Elliptic emphasized that human oversight is key, with officers retaining final judgment rather than relying solely on AI decisions. The firm highlighted its governance framework for agentic AI, which prioritizes model transparency and human oversight.
