AIXC Ditches Crypto Portfolio Amid Heavy Losses, Pivots to Robotics
American technology microcap AIxCrypto Holdings (AIXC) is selling off its entire digital asset portfolio, valued at around $4.82 million, as it shifts focus to robotics and winds down its crypto treasury strategy.
The company filed an amendment to its Form S-1 with the SEC on September 4, 2026, revealing significant financial losses of around 50% due to market downturns in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
AIXC's digital asset liquidation includes selling off 33.49 BTC, 497.56 ETH, 6,325.92 SOL, as well as smaller positions in LINK, BNB, ADA, and XRP, which the company described as 'immaterial'.
This move is not unique to AIXC, as other small-cap companies like Remixpoint have also liquidated their altcoin holdings to focus on core business operations. However, this decision reflects a change in tactics from institutions that are now acquiring stakes in Ripple Labs through direct positions in the issuer's business.
