AlphaPepe Advances as Washington Debates Stablecoin Rules

Share

The debate over stablecoin rules in Washington continues to unfold as the Federal Reserve proposes new regulations for stablecoin issuers. The proposed rules require stablecoins under its supervision to be fully backed by eligible assets, including short-term Treasury bills.

The Senate's wider crypto bill has stalled amid disagreements, including those regarding stablecoin rewards. Neither proposal has produced a final answer, and the timeline for resolving these debates remains uncertain.

In contrast, AlphaPepe is moving forward with its presale, having already raised over $2.82 million before listing on exchanges. The project's Stage 20 sold out quickly, and Stage 21 is currently open to buyers at a price of $0.03111 per ALPE. This stage will remain available until the next exchange reveal.

The presale mechanism allows for multiple stages with increasing prices, providing an opportunity for early buyers to access the project at lower costs. Once a stage closes, its entry is gone, and buyers must move on to the next price tier.
