AlphaPepe Gains Attention as Bitcoin Cash Surges on CME Futures News
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) surged by 35% after CME Group announced plans to launch regulated BCH futures on October 19, pending regulatory review. This news opened a new institutional access route and triggered a short squeeze, causing BCH to jump from the high-$260s.
The catalyst behind this move is significant, as it gives professional traders another regulated way to gain BCH exposure or hedge positions. The CME will offer both standard and Micro Bitcoin Cash futures, with the standard contract representing 250 BCH and the Micro contract representing 25 BCH.
However, some investors are taking a closer look at AlphaPepe (ALPE), which is currently in Stage 20 of its presale at $0.03111. Unlike BCH, ALPE has not yet reached public trading, and buyers are entering before the first exchange chart creates open-market price discovery.
AlphaPepe's strongest angle lies in its product utilities, including AlphaSwap Early Access, which is already live. The token has also received a BlockSAFU 10/10 audit and a Coinsult audit, making it an attractive option for investors looking to enter the market before the launch of DEX.
