ALT5 Sigma Transfers Millions in WLFI Amid Unprecedented Unrealized Losses

Share

ALT5 Sigma made headlines in August when it announced plans to raise $750 million to purchase World Liberty Financial (WLFI), but that figure was later increased to $1.5 billion.

The firm's strategy has been successful, with the crypto market rallying amid positive sentiment around policy changes.

Recently, ALT5 Sigma transferred 1.815 billion WLFI worth $99.77 million to a new address, leaving it with $283.5 million in its wallet.

The transfer is considered an internal reorganization rather than a sale, as it did not go through exchanges.

However, ALT5 Sigma's holdings are sitting on massive unrealized losses of $853.24 million, with two wallets holding 6.9 billion WLFI worth $384 million at a cost basis of $1.24 billion.
