Altcoins Take the Lead as Crypto Markets Surge
Crypto markets surged broadly in morning trading, led by altcoins as risk appetite returned. Bitcoin climbed to $78,034.99 after rising 2.21%, while Ethereum rose 2.62% to $2,509.50.
BNB also saw gains, increasing 1.56% to $749.48, but it was smaller-cap coins that stole the show. Cardano led the charge, surging 5.82% to $0.21, followed closely by Avalanche, which climbed 4.58% to $7.96.
Other notable gainers included Dogecoin, up 4.50% to $0.09, and Solana, which rose 4.15% to $105.80. These moves suggest a risk-on morning for crypto markets, with traders willing to take on higher-beta assets.
