Amaze Holdings Seeks Gold-Backed Digital-Asset Expansion with $155M BullionFX Acquisition
Amaze Holdings (NYSE: AMZE) has entered into a binding Letter of Intent to acquire BullionFX, including its core platform Alchemy, for approximately $155 million in stock. This proposed acquisition would expand Amaze's offerings beyond creator commerce and into gold-backed digital-asset infrastructure.
The Alchemy platform is a decentralized financial ecosystem built around auditable physical gold. It provides a comprehensive DeFi (Decentralized Finance) system where every unit of digital value is tied to physical gold held by independent custodians. This includes lending and borrowing protocols, yield products, cross-chain interoperability, and an Ethereum-based Layer 2 network that links traditional and decentralized finance.
Amaze plans to prioritize the activation of Alchemy's self-custody retail wallet and yield engines after closing the acquisition. The company also intends to pursue a listed Stable Asset Treasury (SAT) vehicle for gold and USD, subject to regulatory approvals. This move is seen as a strategic expansion into gold-backed digital-asset infrastructure amidst a resurgence in cryptocurrency markets.
