American Bitcoin Posts Record Quarterly Production, Strategic Reserve Surpasses 8,000
American Bitcoin Corp., a majority-owned subsidiary of Hut 8 Corp., has reported its second quarter 2026 results, showing significant growth in its strategic reserve and record quarterly production.
The company's CEO, Mike Ho, said: 'Our view of the world is simple: Bitcoin is a growing capital asset, and we believe its long-term compounding will outperform our cost of capital.'
American Bitcoin grew its strategic reserve to over 8,000 Bitcoin in Q2 2026, an increase of ~14% from Q1 2026. This growth was driven by the company's record quarterly production of ~932 Bitcoin, up from ~817 Bitcoin in Q1 2026.
The company's mining platform performance showed a significant increase in revenue, with ~$67.0 million generated in Q2 2026, an ~8% increase from Q1 2026. Revenue per Bitcoin mined was ~$71,900 in Q2 2026, down ~5% from Q1 2026.
